What is this?
PRanker (Pedal Ranker) lets you build visual tier-ranking lists for your guitar pedals.
Search the database, drop pedals into tiers, drag to reorder, then export a shareable image.
Modes
Default sorts pedals into four tiers: Ultra, High, Mid, and Low — a simple way to rank what matters most to you.
Meme uses the classic internet tier-list format (S through F) for more granularity.
When switching between modes, pedals are remapped automatically.
Cyberattack mode is an homage to one of my favorite
YouTube pedal demo channels.
For the true Cyberattack experience, you should use these tier definitions:
UUltra — Pedals that define "your sound." Without these, you couldn't do what you do.
HHigh — Pedals that have been on a gig board, or appeared on a record.
MMid — Pedals you still own, but have not appeared on a record or gigged with (yet).
LLow — Pedals you had, but got rid of at some point.
How to use
🔍Search — Type a brand or pedal name, then tap a tier button to add it.
✏️Title — Set a title (e.g. "Every Reverb I've Ever Owned") that appears on the canvas and in exports.
🎨Mode — Switch between Default, Meme, and Cyberattack. Pedals remap automatically.
📸Export (PNG) — Render your tier list as a shareable image.
🔗Share — Generate a URL that encodes your full ranking. Anyone with the link sees exactly what you see.
💾Save (JSON) — Download your tier list data for backup.
📂Load — Load a previously saved JSON file.
🗑Clear — Remove all pedals from every tier.
↔️Reorder — Drag to reorder or move between tiers. On mobile, long-press to start.
